interesting how life works out - turns out that every time someone decides 2 drop me, God gives me 2 new pals ... at this rate, will be rejoicing when that happens. it's more or less happening at the rate of 1 per year - last year (most painful breakup ever) and this year carol (least painful breakup ever)...

after the feb06 incident, I met Cess (dec 06) and d (mar 07). Cess is a blessing coz she is soooo hardworking, and a great wife/mother and devoted Christian. Hoping all that will rub off on me. d was a blessing coz - donno why - he was the first person to dull the pain of feb o6, and after hanging out with him awhile, i stopped hurting completely. strange coz he isnt exactly the typa person i'd normally be friends with.

when carol dumped me - ok, lemme explain the circumstances coz it was all rather weird. we'd been catchin up coz we were both in lavi... finding out who'd met which ex-classmate and how they were getting on. that was all quite fun. then she started getting rather nasty about pple - i tried to avoid contributing to that kinda conversation. so one day she was talking about fonzie n how he was trying to get her attention but she wouldnt give him the time of day coz she found him rather boring, n i was like- "gosh, poor guy!!" coz he was my deskmate n all (actually we tied for the same index number in std 7, so they had to go alphabetically, and obviously WK in no way competes with AA! ..coz of that we hav a sort of kinship going, he's checked on me several times over the years to see how i'm getting on).. he was a nice guy, he didnt deserve that kinda flack from someone from Y. so, yeah, i say poor guy, and she goes - you know what, i'm tired of this friendship, i wanna call it quits. i didnt give her the dignity of a reply, just went my way, deleted her from my email contacts chats etc and life goes on. but shortly afterwards i met joy and joyce, who are both very nice pple, and we get along swimmingly.....

a double portion for all my losses - is that what the Lord is up to? Nice.
